Gay Couples Rights

We judge people even though we don't know them everyday. We may not know were doing it either but it happens.Should we judge someone though just because they look different or have different veiws? No we shouldn't, so why do we discriminate against gay couples.Just as we do they want to live a normal life with a family and job.

Most states don't want gay couples to get married. Some people say it is against the Constitution because the Constitution states marriages between a man and woman. Many states, including Ohio, have passed a ban on gay marriage. Many people are upset about this, but some simply do not care.Should there be a ban on same sex marriage or no?

I don't think there should be a ban on same sex marriage.Yes, the Constitution does state that a marriage is between a man and woman, but times have changed. The government should not discriminate against peoples decision to have a same sex marriage. It is simply that persons choice.

  1. I agree with you totally. The constitution has changed before so y not change it now. The constitution changes with the times. If gay marriage is not harming anyone why is it illegal? We have a right they don't and why?

  2. There is nothing that deals with marriage in the US constitution at this moment. There has been proposal but it did not get traction. But Ohio like many other states have passed amendments in their own state constitutions that deal with marriage and its definition.
